The April 12 Guided Nature Walk will be led by State Parks Volunteer Docent Henry Bornstein and provides an opportunity to observe wildlife at the park and learn about their natural habitat, as well as to learn about the natural and cultural history and geology of the area. Henry is a member of the Board of Directors of Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association (AMIA) and has been leading nature walks at the park for the past 18 years.
The walk begins at 8:30am. Meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for an opportunity to observe the birds and other wildlife found in the picnic area. The walk will take between 1½ and 3 hours, depending on the route taken. Steady rain will cancel the walk. Dogs are not allowed on the park trails.
